My Own Creation Sushi Free Poke Bowl

I don’t care for sushi yet, so I made one without any.  But I do like fish eggs (masago) and imitation crab.  Lots of crunchy stuff.  Vegetables recommended by parents.

WHAT THE PARENTS THINK

• Nice find in down town Carlsbad.  Not on the main strip.
• My goto place for Poke these day was Poke 1.5 in Kearny Mesa.  But this place is now my new favorite.
• I made my own bowl.  I have the spicy tuna.  I had about 5 good size scoops for my large bowl.  Tuna and all condiments super fresh
• No extra charges for things like extra Krab meat or avocado.
• You might think, nothing for your kids to eat.  My kid doesn’t eat raw fish yet.  So he ordered one with edamame, corn, crunch wontons, masago, and rice.  He loved it.
• They also have awesome Dole whip like you remember it in Hawaii
• Lots of indoor outdoor seating.
• Good place for kids
