2021 Kids Menu Gift Card – One More Thing – Wreaths Across America

While I was researching all the fast food restaurants during the Kids Menu Gift Card project. I learned that Jersey Mike’s also had a charitable project called Wreaths Across America. Each December on National Wreaths Across America Day, our mission to Remember, Honor and Teach is carried out by coordinating wreath-laying ceremonies at Arlington National Cemetery, as well as at more than 2,500 additional locations in all 50 U.S. states, at sea and abroad. The wreaths cost $15.00. Each wreath that’s purchased, Jersey Mike’s will match that.

I wanted to pay it forward. Because of Christy Paul and Mike Bakers donation, I wanted to purchase wreaths on behalf of Christy and Mike. My dad said he will match whatever I donate. I will donate two wreaths which my dad will match, total of four. I sent an email to our generous Picky Eat’s donors to see if anyone else wanted to donate. In less than 24 hours, we were able to raise $300 from our donors. That allowed us to purchase 20 wreaths. With Jersey Mikes’s match, gives us 40 wreaths. We’re able to lay wreaths on Saturday at Fort Rosecrans. We thank all our military for your service.
