London: Princi

London: Princi

Princi is a very large bakery. The ambiance was nice but the food was kind of mediocre. I ordered a croissant sandwich. The eggs were wet and the ham was hard. I tried my dad’s bacon. It was extra-hard. I wouldn’t recommend this restaurant for kids.

WHAT THE PARENTS THINK (RAVE)

  • This is going to be a Gene Siskel/Roger Ebert.  I will be Roger.  This bakery in London was by far the best looking and best testing French bakery I’ve ever tried.
  • Siskel on the other hand didn’t like their eggs.  Just to give you a little background, he’s never had eggs that soft and orange.  In fact those super orange organic eggs were shipped fresh from Italy.
  • The ham was hard because our idea of what bacon is in America is very different than what they have.
  • I learned that London doesn’t understand what eggs over hard is.  I had three waiters including the chef ask me.  The correct term is fried egg.  Also regular coffee is Americano
  • Big beautiful modern space with a nice water fountain on the wall.
  • The space is good for kids
  • Definitely a must visit.
